Last month, we announced that the Texas Department of Insurance approved rate changes for Texas FAIR Plan Association's (TFPA) Homeowners, Dwelling, Tenant, and Condominium coverage forms.
While those new rates had been scheduled to go into effect next month, TDI has issued a new order delaying implementation of the new rates. These rates will now go into effect August 1, 2020. The rate changes are listed in the table below.
